This year, again, the Vasa Club's Swedish Valborgsmassoafton
celebration was held at the Lovriens' wonderful home.

It was a potluck and there was, as always, plenty
of delicious food.

Even though it was a very windy day, the temperature
was just right (a lot warmer than in Sweden, of course)
and we all had a great time!

A family member of a member of Vasa (now deceased and who was a well-known artist)
I believe his last name was Anderson, donated a painting to Vasa, which will be raffled off at the next convention.

Time for the bonfire, which, despite the wind
worked out just fine.

and we ended the evening by singing Swedish and American
