Last night we celebrated "Lilla Julafton" at our monthly meeting. We had guest speakers from the Tucson Danish and Norwegian Lodges giving us presentations about Christmas traditions in their native countries. We also heard about Christmas traditions in Finland and Iceland from our (Swedish) Cultural Leaders, who had done research online.
Afterwards we were treated to various cookies, saffron bread and chocolate goodies eaten in these Nordic countries at Christmas time.
A great time was had by all and the meeting ended at 9:30 PM.
