The Lucia celebration on December 10th at the Christ Church Methodist was a huge success, as always!
The Lucia procession took place in the church sanctuary. The Youth Club, Trollungarna, sang with the Tucson Girls Chorus.
Afterwards, there was a potluck-style Swedish Jul Smorgasbord with lots of good, traditional Swedish "Julmat", which was gobbled up by about 85 jolly and hungry members and their guests.
Before everyone sat down to eat, the candles on each table was lit and everyone sang "Nu tandas tusen juleljus".
Afterwards, there was langdans and ringdans!
