Up With People Coming to Tucson!

In case you are unfamiliar, Up with People is a non-profit, global education program focused on bringing the world together through service and music. Up with People’s international cast of 120 students (7 of them from Sweden) from 21 different countries will be in Tucson, living with host families, volunteering at local non-profits in the community as well as performing at the University of Arizona as a part of the Gala Fund Raising Event for the Up with People living archives on March 16th.



Up With People is currently looking for housing for our international students and would like to invite you to be a part of this experience as a host family to one (or several) of them between March 7th - March 19th.

Being a host family is simple and fun! What we ask for is simply:

- A place to sleep (couch, bed etc)

- breakfast and some dinner

- limited transportation, drop them off at our assigned drop off points in the morning and pick them up in the evening

- a safe environment to share cultures and traditions



My favorite part of this program is the host family experience because I really get a hands on experience on how it is to live in Tucson and other places of the world. Even if you are unable to host a student, please forward the attached flyer should you know someone who is!
